Introduction
ThiS report concerns rejection of all bids to furnish and deliver two (2) new Ford Expedition
utility vehicles [one (1) two wheel drive and one (1) four wheel drive] for the Office of
Administrative Services DIVIsion, Police Department
Backaround
In response to published Notices Inviting Bids (published January 29 and 30, 1997) to
furnIsh and dehver one (1) new two wheel drive Ford ExpedItIon utlhty vehIcle (BId No
2614) and one (1) new four wheel drive Ford ExpedItion utility vehicle (Bid No 2615) In
accordance with City specifications, bids were received and publicly opened and read on
February 18, 1997 Proposal forms were mailed to sixteen vendors and notices were
advertised In accordance with City Charter and Municipal Code provIsions Five proposals
were received as follows
