Joslyn. Ozone, and Douglas Parks In an amount not to exceed $195,000 BACKGROUND Douglas Park Douglas Park IS a four-acre recreation facIlity containing two tennis courts, a playground, a lawn bowling green WIth a clubhouse, and a pond system With watercourse (which have not contained water for several years) located at 24th Street and Wilshire Boulevard The park IS used by a diverse group of residents, varying In age and Interests The park's Irrigation system has detenorated With age and requIres continuous maintenance and the children's play area requires Improvements to comply With the Amencans With Disability Act (ADA) and safety standards 1 6;~~ i . ~~ JAN , It ..
