This report concerns award of bId to furnish and delIver four (4) Warminster fiberglass
shelters for the Water DiviSion, Environmental and Public Works Management
Department, In the total amount of $58,043 65, including applicable sales tax
Backqround
In response to published Notices Inviting Bids (published December 12 and 13, 1996) to
furnish and deliver four (4) Warmlnster fiberglass shelters In accordance With City
speCifications, bids were received and publicly opened and read on December 23, 1996
Proposal forms were mailed to two (2) vendors and notices were advertised in
accordance With City Charter and MuniCipal Code provIsions. Two proposals were
received as follows.

Improvement Budget, account number 25-760-671-20096-8900-99305, "Charnock Well
BUilding Program"
Recommendation
It is recommended that the award of Bid #2612 be made to California EnVIronmental
Controls, Inc In the total amount of $58,043 65, including applicable tax, as the lowest
responSible bidder.
