SUBJECT : Recommendation to Award Bid to Provide Miscellaneous
Trash Bin Parts, Bid #2504
Introduction
This report concerns award of bid to provide rrUscellaneous trash
bin parts for the Solid Waste Division, Environmental and Public
Works Management Department, at specified unit prices including
applicable sales tax.
Background
In response to published Notices Inviting Bids (published June 13,
14, 1994) to provide miscellaneous trash bin parts in accordance
with City specifications, bids were received and publicly opened
and read on June 28, 1994. Proposal foms were mailed to two (2)
vendors and notices were advertised in accordance with City Charter
and Municipal Code provisions. Two (2) proposals were received as

Recommendation
It is recorrmended that the award of Bid #2504 be made to
Consolidated Fabricator Corporation at specified unit prices,
including applicable tax, as the lowest and best bidder.
