Bolts
Introduction
This report concerns an award of bid to furnish and deliver receptacles and anchor bolts for
the Solid Waste DIvIsIon, EnVironmental and Public Works Management Department, and the
Administration DIvIsion, Resource Management Department, In the total amount of
$52,205.73, Includmg applicable sales tax

These trash receptacles WIll replace eXIsting trash collectron contarners that are Irreparable.
The deSign of these receptacles IS compatible with those located on Third Street Promenade
and various parks throughout the City as well as the color palate of the City's logo. Keystone
Ridge DeSign, Inc IS the sole source manufacturer of these receptacles.
Staff received a quote for one hundred sixteen (116) receptacles at $409.50 and for one
hundred sIxteen (116) anchor bolts at $6 25 per set from Keystone Ridge DeSign, Inc. for a
total amount of $52,205 73, rncludmg sales tax
Ordrnance number 1743 (Ces), Section 5, paragraph 2.24080 of the Santa Monica MUniCipal
Code allows exceptIOn to competitive blddrng when Items are purchased from a sole source
manufacturer
