SECTION 3. The Clty Clerk shall glve notlce of the hearl.ng by

~ere::laf~er provlded. Any lnterested person may protest agal.nst
~he proposed lmprovement l.n wrltlng flled wl.th the Cl.ty Clerk at
any ~:me no~ later tr.an the hour set for the hearlng In the manner
prcvlded by Streets and Hl.ghways Code Sectlon 5220.
SEC=ION 4. The Superl.ntendent of streets shall cause to be
consp~cuously posted along the ll.TIe of sald contemplated work or
:mprovement and also along all the open streets wl.thln the sald
clstrlct, r:c~~ce of the passage of thlS Resolutlon of Intentl.on in
~he manner and farffi prescrlbed by law.
The Clty Clerk lS hereby lS dlrected to mall notlces, In the
manner and form prescrlbed by law, of the adoptlon of thls
Resolutlon to all persons ownlng commerclal, lndustrial, or
resldent:al real property ln the herelnbefore descrlbed assessment
dls::rlct, whose names and addresses appear on the last equallzed
assessment roll for the Clty taxes or as known to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk 1.S hereby directed to publish this
Resolution, in accordance with Government Code Sectlon 6063, in The
Outlook, once a week for three successive weeks, wlth at least five
days lnterVen1.ng between the respective publ1.cation dates, not
counting the first day of publication and terminates at the end of
the twenty-first day, including therein the flrst date. The f1.rst
publ1.cation lS to be made not less than forty-f1.ve (45) days prlor
~o ~he date of the above publlc hearlng.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolut1.on, and thereafter the same shall be In full force and
effect.
