INTRODUCTION
This report transmits for City Council approval a Final Parcel Map for the followmg
subdiVIsion reversion TentatIve Parcel Map No 24457 was approved by the Planning
CommISSIon on March 6. 1996

BACKGROUND
At the request of the property owner. the City Council prevIously approved Final Map No
22268 on February 9, 1993 That airspace subdiVIsion map authOrized conversion of the
apartment development to condomIniums However, the property owner has abandoned
the condominium project and IS requesting approval of Parcel Map No 24457 for the
purpose of reversing the previously approved and recorded subdiVIsIon map Approval of
thiS request Will allow the City Engineer to release the performance bond and Improvement
agreements for the abandoned condominium project

After a publIc heanng and careful revIew of the record and staff recommendatIons, the
Planning CommiSSion approved Tentative Parcel Map Mo 24457 for the above project on
March 6. 1996 The actIon of the Plannmg Commission was based on ItS findings that the
proposed reversion to acreage IS In conformance With all State and local laws and regula-
tions and applicable General Plan Elements
The Final Map conforms to conditions of approval of the Tentative Map The License DIVI-
sion reports that the City IS not a lien claimant The Fmal Map has been reviewed and
approved by the Los Angeles County Engineer's office and certified by the City Engineer
for conformance With the Tentative Map and conditions thereon, the SubdiVIsion Map Act
and local ordmances
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT
The recommendatIon presented In thIS report does not have a budget or fIscal Impact
RECOMMENDATION
It IS recommended that the Final Map be approved by adoption of the accompanYing
resolution
