Discussion
City staff has prepared a traffic signal improvement project for
Wilshire Boulevard from Ocean Avenue to centinela Avenue. The
project consists of upgrading, modernization and computerizing
(synchronizing) all the signals along Wilshire Boulevard. This is
the first phase of a citywide plan to computerize and synchronize
our traffic signals.
The City of Santa Monica is scheduled to receive $1. 7 million
from the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission (LACTC),
under their Combined Road Plan ( CRP) cash account funds, for the
construction of this project. 6-r
