SUBJECT: Recommendation to Adopt a Resolution Approving
Amended Parcel Map No. 21506
INTRODUCTION
This report requests that city Council approve and accept Amended
Parcel Map No. 21506 for a 4 unit development at 2318 2nd street.
BACKGROUND
The Tentative Parcel Map was reviewed and approved by the Plannl.ng
Commission with the required public hearing. The Final Subdivision
Map No. 21506 was approved by city council on March 27, 1990.
Subsequent to recordation of the Final Map, a private surveyor
submitted information that the centerline of strand street was
incorrectly shown on the recorded map. Staff reviewed the
l.nformation and found that a revision to the final map was
required. In order to significantly revise a map, the state
Subdivision Map Act requires that the corrections be filed as an
Amended Map. The Amended Map must be approved by the Los Angeles
County Engineer's Office, certified by the city Engineer, and
approved by city Council. Amended Parcel Map No. 21506 has been
approved by the County Engineer's Office, the City Engineer, and is
presented to city council for their approval.

BUDGET/FINANCIAL IMPACT
The recommendation presented in this report has no budget or fiscal
impact.
RECOMMENDATION
It is respectfully recommended that the City Council approve
Amended Parcel Map No. 21506 and adopt the accompanying resolution.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
AMENDING PARCEL MAP NO. 21506
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Amending Parcel Map No. 21506 in the city
of Santa Monica hereby is accepted and approved.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk hereby is authorized and
directed to endorse upon the face of said Map this order
authenticated by the Seal of the city of Santa Monica.
SECTION 3. That the city Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
