Introductlon
ThlS report concerns award of bid to furnlsh and deliver plumblng
flxtures and plumbing parts for the Environmental Programs
DivlSlon, Environmental and Public Works Management Department,
at specifled un~t prices, plus applicable sales tax, with two
one-year renewal optlons
Backqround
In response to published Notices Invltlng Bids (published May 16
and 17, 1995) to furnlsh and deliver plumbing flxtures and
plumb~ng parts in accordance wlth City specifications, bids were
received and publlcly opened and read on May 31, 1995. Proposal
forms were malled to seven vendors and notices were advertised ln
accordance wlth Clty Charter and Munlclpal Code prOV1Slons. Six
proposals were rece~ved as follows:

Recommendation
It is recommended that the award of Bid #2535 be made to Familian
Bay Area at specified unit prices, plus appl~cable sales tax,
w~th two one-year renewal opt~ons as the lowest and best bidder.
