Introduction
ThlS report concerns award of bid to provlde materials, tools and
labor to remove, repalr and lnstall translt coach seats for the
Malntenance Division, Transportation Department {Munlclpal Bus
Llnes} , at specified unit prices, plus applicable tax, with two
one-year renewal options.
Backqround
In response to published Notices Invltlng Bids (publlshed May 16
and 17, 1995) to provide materials, tools and labor to remove,
repair and lnstall transit coach seats in accordance with Clty
specifications, bids were received and publicly opened and read on
June I, 1995. Proposal forms were malled to three vendors and
notices were advertised in accordance with City Charter and
Munlclpal Code provlSlons. Two proposals were received as follows:
