Asphalt Paving Mixes, Bld #2529
Introduction
This report concerns award of bld to provide and deliver hot
asphalt pavlng rnlxes for the Street Malntenance Division,
Environmental and Public Works Management Department, in the total
amount of $100,000, including applicable sales tax.
Backqround
In response to published Notices Invlting Blds (publlshed May 16
and 17, 1995) to provide and deliver hot asphalt pavlng mixes In
accordance with City specifications, bids were received and
publicly opened and read on June I, 1995. Proposal forms were
malled to two vendors and notices were advertlsed in accordance
with City Charter and Municlpal Code provlsions. Two proposals
were received as follows'

Management Department, account number 01-500-421-00000-4414-00000.
Recommendat~on
It is recommended that the award of Bld #2529 be made to Industrial
Asphalt at specified unit prices plus appl~cable tax, as the lowest
responsible bidder.
