SUBJECT: Recommendation to Schedule Dates for Budget Study
Sessions and Adopt~on of FY1994!95 Clty Budget
Every year, the Councll holds study sessions on the City Manager's
proposed budget. These study sessions are deslgned to provlde an
opportunlty for Clty Council to question staff about the budget on
an lndlvldual departmental basis. Staff recommends that City
CounCll study sessions on the proposed FY1994!95 City Budget be
scheduled for the evenings of Monday, June 6' Tuesday, June 7 .

Wednesday, June 8: and Thursday, June 9. Sessions w~ll begin at
6:00 p.m.
As prevlously requested by the Council, staff has scheduled a
budget study session for the publlC for Saturday, June 11 at 1:00
p.m. at the Ken Edwards Center. Staff wlll present an overVlew of
the proposed FY1994/95 Clty budget and respond to questions about
the proposed budget. Budget documents wlll be avallable for public
lnspection at the City Clerk's Office and in the public llbraries
on Frlday, May 27, 1994 The publlC may obtaln additional copies
of the proposed FY1994/95
