Purchase of Safe
INTRODUCTION:
ThlS report requests appropriation and authorlzatlon for the City
Councll to transfer funds from the General Fund Reserve account to
01-100-214-000-802 to complete the purchase of a safe for the City
Clerk's Department.
BACKGROUND:
Durlng the recent electlon lt became necessary to provlde a secure
locatlon for voted ballots. Such faCllltles were not adequate in
Clty Hall. The purchase of a safe was made through Atlas Safe
Company.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the Clty (ouncll approve an
approprlatlon of $2,124.68 for the purchase of the safe and transfer
of thlS amount from the General Fund to Account 01-100-214-000-802.
