Backqround
At present, no employment benefits are set for the
Assistant City Attorney. Now that a new Assistant City Attorney
has been hired, it is necessary to fix such benefits. The
accompanying resolution adds the Assistant City Attorney in the
Executive Pay Plan for the purposes of fringe benefits only. The
city Manager has been consulted concerning this proposal and it
meets with his approval.
RECOMMENDATION
It is respectfully recommended that the accompanying
resolution be adopted.

RESOLUTION NUMBER 7320{CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING FRINGE
BENEFITS OF THE ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The benefits and privileges of employment other
than salary for the Assistant city Attorney shall be the same as
those that are provided or extended in the Executive Pay Plan
adopted by Resolution Number 7285 (CCS). The salary schedule of
the Assistant City Attorney shall be the same as the salary
schedule for attorneys employed as Deputy City Attorney III
pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding between the City and
the Society of Public Attorneys of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
