SUBJECT: Allocation of Funds to Support continuation
of Regional Cities' Meetings
Introduction
At the meeting of February 27, 1990, the ci ty Council directed
staff to prepare an agenda item authorizing $3,000 in funding
support to facilitate future joint meetings of representatives
from the Cities of West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica,
Culver City and Los Angeles to discuss issues of mutual concern.
Funds will be used to cover the costs of a group facilitator as
well as general meeting expenses.
Budget Impact
Funds are available in non-departmental contingency account
#01-700-274-00000-5506-00000.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the Council allocate $3,000 from the
non-departmental contingency account to support future regional
meeting expenses.
