Introduction
This report recommends award of bid to provide prmtlng and delivery of bus schedules
and system maps for the TransportatIon Department at specified Unit prrces, plus
applicable sales tax
Background
In response to published Notices Inviting Bids (published May 27 and 28, 1999) In
accordance with CIty specIfications, bids were received and publicly opened and read on
June 8. 1999 Proposal forms were mailed to sixteen vendors and notices were
advertIsed In accordance with City Charter and MUnicipal Code provisIons Eight
proposals were receIved as follows

were not limited to, paper stock, on-Site storage, printing equipment, and use of recycled
paper Staff has evaluated the low bId and fmds that It meets CIty specIfIcatIons.
