Although there are CNG powered pickup trucks available, they do not meet City
specifications for a mini truck Don Kott Ford submitted a bid ($28,288 05) for a CNG
powered full size truck rather than a mini truck The purchase of a gasoline-powered
vehicle. because a CNG vehicle of the size needed IS not available, IS consistent With the
City's reduced emiSSions fuel policy
Staff has evaluated the bids submitted for a gasoline-powered 4X4 mini truck and finds
that they meet City specifications However, Ford Motor Company does business In
Burma, and It IS contrary to CounCil policy to do business With companies dOing business
