Introduclion
This report recommends award of bid to furnish and deliver miscellaneous bus taillights to
replace existing taillights that are damaged or broken for the Transportation Department at
specified unit pnces, plus applicable sales tax, With two one-year renewal options

In response to published Notices Inviting Bids (published February 9 and 10, 1999) In
accordance With City specifications, bids were received and publicly opened and read on
February 17, 1999 Proposal forms were mailed to five vendors and notices were
advertised In accordance With City Charter and MUnicipal Code provIsions Three
proposals were received as follows

It IS recommended that the award of Bid #2748 be made to Umversal Coach Parts at
specified unit pnces, plus applicable sales tax, With two-one-year renewal options, as the
lowest responsible bidder
