SR-6-B (57) - ~ c/ v_ > loB MAY 1 ,_ PCD SF JT RES f \plan\share\councll\strpt\fm\fm52645 Council Mtg May 11, 1999 Santa MOnica, California TO Mayor and City Council FROM City Staff SUBJECT Recommendation to Authorize City Manager to Adopt a Resolution ApprOVing Final Tract Map No 52645 for a 5-Unlt Condominium Project at 2922 Montana Avenue INTRODUCTION ThiS report transmits for City Council approval a Final Tract Map for the follOWing condominium project The Planning Commission approved the Vesting Tentative Map on December 2, 1998 TRACT MAP ADDRESS SUBDIVIDER UNITS 52645 2922 Montana Ave Apex DeSign 5 BACKGROUND After public heanng and careful review of the record and staff recommendations, the Planning Commission approved a Vesting Tentative Map for the above project on December 2,1998 The action of the Planning CommiSSion was based on ItS findings that the proposed subdiVISion Will have no significant environmental Impact and IS In conformance With all State and local laws and regulations and applicable General Plan Elements MAY 1 1 _ lo:B - The Final Map conforms to the Tentative Map The License DIvIsion reports that the developer has agreed to pay the condominium tax The project has been approved by the Los Angeles County Engineer's office and certified by the City Engmeer for conformance with the Tentative Map and conditions thereon, the SubdiVISion Map Act and local ordinances The City Attorney's office has approved the covenants, conditions and restnctlons for the Final Map as complYing with the conditions of the Tentative Map and applicable laws A SubdIVISIon Improvement Agreement, whIch Includes public Improvements at the expense of the applicant, was not required for thiS project according to the City Engmeer BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT The recommendation presented m thiS report does not have a budget or fiscal Impact RECOMMENDATION It IS recommended that the City CounCil approve the Final Map by adoption of the accompanYing resolution Prepared by Suzanne Fnck, Director of Planning & Community Development Jay Trevino, AICP, Planning Manager Gma SZllak.
