Adoption of Resolution Establ1shing Salary for
Community Center Supervisor
INTRODUCTION
This report requests adoption of the attached salary resolution
establishing the salary rate for the classif1cat1on of Community
Center Supervisor.
BACKGROUND
Class1fication studles were conducted for several positions as a
part of the F1scal Year 93-94 Budget process
As a result of these
studies, one of the positions in the Cornmun1ty and Cultural
Services
Department
was
reclass1f1ed
to
Community
Center
Supervisor. An lnternal salary comparison was conducted for this
classification.
The recommended salary is based on internal
alignment factors in relat10nship to comparable positions with1n
the City.
BUDGET/FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds are 1ncluded in the budget for Flscal Year 1993-94 to cover
all salary costs related to the adopt1on of this salary resolut1on.
RECOMMENDATIONS
It 1S recommended that the City Council adopt the attached salary
resolution establishing the new salary rate for thlS posit1on
classlfication.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING A NEW
CLASSIFICATION AND ADOPTING A SALARY RATE
FOR COMMUNITY CENTER SUPERVISOR
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The follow1ng monthly salary level 1S hereby
established for the indicated permanent classification effective
July I, 1993:

SECTION 2. The C1ty Clerk shall certify to the adopt1on of
thlS Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
