ThiS report concerns rejection of all bIds to furnIsh and deliver one (1) new 80,000 Ib
gross carrying weight (GCW) Tandem Dnve Truck Tractor for the Solid Waste DIVISion,
Environmental and Public Works Management Department
Background
In response to published Notices Invltlng Bids (published May 13 and 14, 1996) to
furnish and deliver one (1) new 80,000 Ib gross carrymg weight (GCW) Tandem Truck
Tractor In accordance With City speCifications, bids were received and publicly opened
and read on May 29, 1996 Proposal forms were mailed to twelve vendors and notices
were advertised In accordance With City Charter and MUniCipal Code prOVIsions Two
proposals were received as follows
