CM KEL f\cmanager\strfp\resostorm wpd Council Meetmg 5/12/98 Santa MOnica, California RESOLUTION NUMBER2~~ (CCS) (City Council Senes) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DESIGNATING THE CITY'S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES DEALING WITH THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES AND THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY WHEREAS, dunng a senes of winter storms m 1998, the City of Santa MOnica experienced damage within portions of the City, and WHEREAS, a state and federal disaster area was declared entitling the City of Santa Monica to receive reimbursement as authorized by the Stafford Act of 1974 (Pl 93 - 288) as administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the California Office of Emergency Services (DES), and WH EREAS, In order to receive this reImbursement, FEMA requIres the CIty CounCil to adopt a resolution deSignating official representatives for purposes of sIgning officIal documents, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOllOWS SECTION 1 John Jahll, City Manager, Susan McCarthy, ASSistant City Manager, KatIe llChtlg, Semor Management Analyst, Ettore Berardinelli, FIre Chief, and Ellen McNeill.
