Introduction
ThIS report concerns an award of bid to provide labor to repair and service bus air
conditioners for the Maintenance Division, Transportation Department, at specified umt
pnces, plus applicable sales tax
Background
In response to published NotIces InViting Bids (published June 24 and 25, 1997) to
prOVide labor to repair and service bus air conditioners In accordance wIth City
speCIficatIOns, bids were received and publicly opened and read on July 2, 1997
Proposal forms were mailed to two vendors and notices were advertised In accordance
with City Charter and MUniCipal Code provIsions Two proposals were received as follows

Recommendation
It IS recommended that the award of BId #2658 be made to Clnedyne Inc at specified Unit
prrces, plus applicable tax, with two one-year renewal options, as the lowest responsible
bidder
