and any successors in interest to each condition imposed m connection w~th approval of
th~s Tenanf-Partic~pating Con~ersion This Writte~ Cansent has b~~n approved by the
C~ty Attarney and the City Manager Each participating tenant has been inforrned m writing
of his flr her rights under Art~cle XX of the C~ty Charter The License Di~ision reports that
proper arra~gements ha~e been made ta ensure payment of the Tenant-Participating
Con~ersion Tax
The F~nal Map conforms ta the Tentative Map The Final Map has been cert~fied by the
City Engm~~r far conformance with the Ten#ative Map and cond~t~ons therean, the
Subdivision Map Act and lacal ardinances The C~ty Attorney's office has ap~roved a
Declaration of Covenants, CondEtkons, and Restnct~or~s, ar equivalent document, far this
pro~ect as complymg wEth the conditior~s of the Tentative Map and the Tenant-Particapatmg
Conversion
Council approval of a final map for a Tenant-Part~cEpatmg Con~ers~on r~presents one of
the last ste~s necessary in the con~ersion process Following City Council action and
appra~al by the Cal~fomia Department af Real Estate the applicants may begin sell~ng their
un~ts ta the tenants As each unit Es sold a conversian tax per Section 2008 of Article XX
is due ~n an amount equai to twelve times the monthly maximum allowabfe rent for that

unit T~ese taxes will be used to assist !ow and moderate income households to purchase
o~ ~mprave their un~ts sub~ect to affardable repayment per Sectron 2009 of Article XX
BUDGETIFISCAL IMPACT
The recommendation presented in th~s report does not ha~e an Emmediate budget ar fiscal
impact I~ and as units En the pro~ect are soEd in the future, Tenant-Participatmg
Conversion Taxes w~li be collected pursuant to the provES~ons af Article XX of the City
Charter and some mcreased property tax re~e~ues may be generated
