hood Servlces Budget to Reflect CDBG Program Carryover
Funds from Prior Year
Introduction
This report concerns certain budgetary adJustments necessary to carry
forward the prior year's CDBG funds to be lncluded in the 1982-83
Community and Nelghborhood Serv~ces Budget.
Background
Now that Fiscal Year 1981-82 is closed and flnal balances of the
CDBG budget line items for that year are available, it is necessary
to carry forward these remainlng balances and adjust the 1982-83
CDBG budget accordlngly. Estlmates were made of these balances
during the 1982-83 budget process and these estimates were included in
the City Budget approved by Councll on June 22, 1982. The Budget
needs to be adjusted to reflect the actual amounts of carryover
funds.

Staff recommends that City Council adopt the attached resolution
