This report recommends an award of bid to furnish and deliver miscellaneous carpet for
the Event FacIlities DIvIsion, Community and Cultural Services Department, m the total
amount of $44,98004, mcludlng applicable sales tax
Background
In response to published NotIces InViting Bids (published January 21 and 22, 1998) In
accordance with CIty specIfications, bids were received and publIcly opened and read on
February 9. 1998 Proposal forms were mailed to eleven (11) vendors and notices were
advertised In accordance with City Charter and MUniCipal Code provIsions Eight (8)
