SUBJECT Recommendation to Form an Assessment District for Streetlight Installation
on Vanous City Streets and Set Public Hearings for March 10, 1998 and
Apnl14, 1998
This addendum substitutes the resolution that IS attached to staff report Item 60 In the
CounCil packet The substitute resolutIon clarifies the definItIon of an eligible voter for
purposes of this street lighting assessment district The clarifications are to sectIons 10
and 11 of the resolution Section 10 now reads, "Eligible voters for assessed residential
properties are the reSidents, whether owners or renters, of the streets Included Within the
assessment dIstrict "Non-reSldent owners of controlled rental umts may pass through the
cost of the assessment to tenants In conformance With Rent Control Regulations Eligible
voters for non-reSidentIal properties are the owners of the properties" Section 11 refers
to the "eligible voters" who are defined In Section 1 0
