The ordlnance lS now presented to the Clty Councll for adoptlon. The City Councll has requested a copy of a Materlal Safety Data Sheet. A copy of one accompanles thlS Staff Report. ( c 1 Every person requlrcd to dlsclose under subdlvlslon (a) of thls sectlon shall complete and flle a TOX1C Chemlcal Dlsclosure Form wlthln 90 days of the date of adoptlon of thlS Chapter. \11 thln 45 days of the date of adoptlon of thlS Chapter, the Dlrector of General Servlces shall mall a TOXlC Chemlcal Disclosure Form to every l~censee requlred to disclose under thlS sectlon. Thereafter, such llcensees shall complete a TOXlC Chemlcal D1sclosurc Form 1n the !:lanner required by subdlvislon (d) of thls sectlon. (dl No llcense lssued pursuant to Artlcle VI of thlS Code shall be renewed unless a TOXlC Che~lcal Dlsclosure Forrn 4 . . lS completed by any person requlred to flle such a form under thlS sectlon. The TOX1C Chemlcal Disclosure Form shall be rualled by the Dlrector of General SerVlces and shall be completed and flIed with the Clty on or before September I of- each year. Any provlSlon of the Santa ~Ionlca lIunlclpal Code or appendlces thereto lnconsistent wlth the provlslons of thlS ordlnance, to the extent of such lnconSlstencles and no further, are hereby repealed or ~odlfled to that extent necessary to affect the provlslons of thlS ordlnance. SECTION 3. If any section, subsectlon, sentence, clause, or phrase of thlS ordlnance lS for any reason held to be lnvalid or unconstltutlonal by a declslon of any cour-t of any competent ]urlsdictlon, such declslon shall not affect the valldlty of the rer.alnlng portlons of the ordlnance. The Clty Councll hereby declares that lt would have pussed this ordlnance und each and every declared sect~on, s ubsectlon, sentence, clause or phrase not lDvalld or unconstltutional without regard to whether any portlon of the ordlnance would be subsequently declared lnvalld or unconstltutlonal. 6 . . SECTION 4. The Mayor shall slgn and the City Clerk shall attest to the passage of thlS ordlnance. ThlS Clty Clerk shall cause the same to be publlshed once ln the officl_al newspaper withln IS days after lts adoptlon. The ordlnance shall become effectlve after 30 days from lts adoption.
