The ordlnance lS now presented to the Clty
Councll for adoptlon.
The City Councll has requested a copy of a Materlal Safety
Data Sheet. A copy of one accompanles thlS Staff Report.
RECOMMENDATION
It lS respectfully recommended that the accompanying
ordlnance be adopted.

SECTION 2. Any provlSlon of the Santa ~Ionlca lIunlclpal
Code or appendlces thereto lnconsistent wlth the provlslons of
thlS ordlnance,
to the extent of such lnconSlstencles and no
further, are hereby repealed or ~odlfled to that extent necessary
to affect the provlslons of thlS ordlnance.
SECTION 3.
If any section, subsectlon, sentence, clause,
or phrase of thlS ordlnance lS for any reason held to be lnvalid
or unconstltutlonal by a declslon of any cour-t of any competent
]urlsdictlon, such declslon shall not affect the valldlty of the
rer.alnlng portlons of the ordlnance. The Clty Councll hereby
declares that lt would have pussed this ordlnance und each and
every
declared
sect~on,
s ubsectlon,
sentence,
clause
or phrase not
lDvalld
or unconstltutional without
regard to whether
any portlon of the ordlnance would be subsequently declared
lnvalld or unconstltutlonal.

SECTION 4. The Mayor shall slgn and the City Clerk shall
attest to the passage of thlS ordlnance. ThlS Clty Clerk shall
cause the same to be publlshed once ln the officl_al newspaper
withln IS days after lts adoptlon.
The ordlnance shall become
effectlve after 30 days from lts adoption.
