The 4000 member POA was founded in 1928.
The membershIp IS
comprised of regular, reserve and retired peace offIcers from the
pUblic and private sector. The organizatIon offers professional
development opportunities for members as well as provIdIng up to
date review and research on current issues of concern to law
enforcement officials including insurance, pUblic relatIons,
traffIC, drugs and narcotics, and pending legislatIon.
