Introductlon
Th1S report tranSffi1ts a resolutlon revlsing the terms and
condltlons of employment for the City Clerk as requested by the
C1ty Counc1l.
Recommendat1on
It 1S recommended that the attached resolut1on be adopted which
provides for retroactive adJustment of the C1ty Clerk's salary.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA ADOPTING
A SALARY FOR THE POSITION OF
CITY CLERK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF S14~TA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 :

The following salary
ind1cated class1f1cat1on,
level is hereby
effect1ve on the
CITY CLERK 1/6/85
$3662/month ($3918 wlth PERS)
7/7/85
$3754/month ($4017 wlth PERS)
SECTION 2: Sect10n I of this Resolut1on shall be effectlve
January 6, 1985. The benefits accorded to th1s pos1t1on shall be
the same as for members of the Executlve Pay Plan wlth the
exceptlon of particlpatlon 1n the performance bonus pool.
SECTION 3: There w111 be a salary reVlew conducted of the
C1ty Clerk poslt1on and presented to the Clty Councll for
conslderatlon on or about January 1, 1986.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoptlon of
this Resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
