SUBJECT: Resolution Adopting Salary and Benefits
for city Clerk
INTRODUCTION
This report transmits a resolution revising the terms and
conditions of employment for the City Clerk as requested by the
city Council.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the attached resolution be adopted which
provides for retroactive adjustment of the City Clerk's salary
and payment of a bonus in recognition of Fiscal Year 1985-86
performance.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA ADOPTING
A SALARY AND BONUS PAYMENT FOR THE
POSITION OF CITY CLERK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT~ OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOL~WS: c
SECTION 1: The following salary level is hereby
established for the indicated classification, effective on the
following dates:
CITY CLERK 7/6/86
1/4/87
$3,942/month ($4,218 with PERS)
$4,060/month ($4,344 with PERS)
SECTION 2: The benefits accorded to this position shall be
the same as for members of the Executive Pay Plan with the
exception of participation in the performance bonus pool.
SECTION 3: A bonus payment of $1,351 shall be made
immediately in recognition of Fi~ca1 Year 1985-86 performance.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
