The CIty Manager has requested amendment of the current Resolution to provIde salary adJustments totallIng 9% and an adjustment to vacation accrual rabes for 1985-86. The salary evaluatIon leadIng to thIS request was based on a market survey which showed Department Heads to be substantially below the mean of standard compar I son CI tIes. The effect of recent equity adjustments to female dominated classifIcatIons and establIshment of a salary grId WIth standard Intervals were other factors InfluencIng the salary recommendatIon.
