He lS a second-generatlon Clty employee and has provlded exceptlonal serVlce beyond the usual requlrements of hlS Job descrlptlon. In splte of lllness, Jury duty, and other lnterruptlons, ~r. Tabares wakes sure that illS work crew knows what they are dOlng and that the work lS completed on schedule. 3. C. L. McCarnsi Electrlclan Hr. HcCarns lS the ~>!lght ElectrlCl.an. He works alone and repalrs a wlde varlety of electrlcal equ1p- ment, lneludlng traffic slgnals, street llghts, park llyhtlng, sewer p~~ps, and other equlpment. He also lS called out at nlght by the Pollce and the cltlzens to take care of broken windows, holes In the street, water leaks, trees dO~'Iln, trafflc aecldents, and to asslst the Pollce and Flre Depart~ent at flres. ~'lr.
