IntroductlOn
Thls report requests the Clty Counell commend Dave Brltton, Paul Golladay
and Ray Rains for thelr excellent work in the General Services Department.
Background
The Employee Recognltlon Commlttee, a peer evaluatlon commlttee of the
General Services Department, has selected Dave Britton, Paul Golladay and
Ray Ralns as the outstandlng employees of the Department, based on the
establlshed criteria for selectlon.
These three men were chosen on the basis of thelr contlnued outstanding
Job performance for the City.
t~r. Bntton lS a C1Vll Englneering Assoclate. In the past year, he has
coordlnated the City Attorney's Offlce expanslon and the Moss Avenue
Sewer Pumpln9 Plant modiflcatlons. In addltlon, he lS exceptlonally
courteous and helpful in deal1ng with the publlC.
Mr. Gollaaay lS a Water Supervisor. He performs all hlS work at such a
high level that he makes the most difficult task appear routine. In
addltlon, he has done an outstandlng Job of coordinatln9 between running
his own water projects and asslstlng with sewer projects and emergencles.
Mr. Ralns lS an Electrlcian. Durlng the construction of Santa Monlca Place,
he was responslble for the lnstallation of over 6,000 feet each of conduit

It lS recommended the City Councll commend Mr. Britton, Mr. Golladay and
