SECTION 1. The City CounCil of the City of Santa MonIed
does restate lts long-st~ndlng OppO~ltlon to 011 drilling 1n
Santa Monica Bay.
SECTION 2. The Clty CounCil of the City of S~nta Monlca
does hereby affirm ~~ the appropriate deflnltion of the Santa
Monlc~ B~y to Include at a minimum the entire area covered by
the Congresslon~1 Mor~torlum currently In effect, which 15 as

Santa Monica eay not only Includes but
~lso extends outward from the obVIOUS
area of
POlot Dume
to Palos Uerdes.
