Introduction
This report is requesting City Council to set a public hearing for the
assessment of the costs of Tree Planting District 5 on Lincoln Blvd. between
Paciflc Street and Ocean Park Boulevard.
Background
On January lO~ 1978, the City Council ordered the planting of trees on
Lincoln between Pacific Street and Ocean Park Boulevard. The work has been
completed and the property owner's share of the costs will now be due. A
public hearing must be held pursuant to Section 5882 of the Streets and
Hlghway Code of the State of California. A resolutlon confirming the
assessments and setting the public hearing is attached.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Counell adopt the attached resolution setting
a public hearing for April 24, 1979, on the assessment of costs of the
subJect tree plantings.
