SUBJECT: Recommendat1on Regarding Street Tree Maintenance

The Recreation and Parks Commission met in regular session on January 15, 1981.
At this meeting a motion was made to forward the following recommendation to
the C1ty Council.
Alva Libuser moved that the City Counc1l reconsider their policy of shift1ng
the burden of curb and sidewalk repair damage, in whole or in part, resulting
from tree operations to the homewoner and consider shifting the burden back to
the City. The motion was seconded by Margaret Verge.

Motion carried.
