SUBJECT: Recommendation to award bid to Knorr Pool Svstems Inc
for a segmented (6 Panel) Floating Swimming"Pool Blanket
and two Winder reels for the Municipal Swimming Pool.

Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for Pool Blanket and 2 Winding
Reels in the total amount of $8,414.28 including applicable sales
tax Funds for this purchase have been budgeted in account
number 01-400-552-000-950.
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver a Segmented Floating Swimming Pool Blanket with 2 winding
Reels in accordance with City specifications, bids ~ere received
and publicly opened and read January 6, 1981. Pronosal forms
were mailed to (10) ten vendors and notices were advertised in
accordance with City Charter and Municipal Code provisions. Two
proposals were received.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the award be made to Knorr Pool Systems, Inc.
in the total amount of $8,414 28, including tax, as the lowest and
best bidder.
