Th1S report transmlts the orulnance for second
readlng and adoptlon.
Background
At ltS Meetlng of September 12, 1978 the Clty Council
was presented an ordlnance for adoptlon amendlng the Santa
Monlca MUDlclpal Code pertalnlng to regulatlon of massage parlor
operators. At sald meet1ng the Clty Councll held a flrst
readlng and publlC hearlng on the ordlnance annexed hereto
contalnlng the requested alteratlons.

Recommendatlon
It 1S respectfully recommended that the Clty Councll
relntroduce the attached ordlnance for second readlng and adoptlon.
