SUBJECT Recommendation to Reject All B~ds on Formal Bid # 1766,
Refuse Containers and Parts and Rebid with New
Specif~cations
Introduction
Formal bid procedures covering 150 two-yard refuse bins and
several items of replacement parts for refuse bins was initated
in June 1982 The bids were opened on July 13, 1982. Three
bidders responded to the request.
Background
Upon analyzing the three bids, staff determ~ned that none of the
three met the City's specifications on the bins
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the three bids received be rejected.
The needs will then be filled by a new set of bids w~th revised
specifications
