BACKGROUl\JD
The regulrements of Ordlnance 1131 (CCS) anply to newsracks
\nthin Zone A. 'T':.a~ zone currently lncludes vHlshire Boulevard
and F'lfth and Sixth Streets froM Santa ~1onlca Boulevard to Wllshlre
Boulevard. The proDosed orQinance would amend nrdlnance 1131 bv
enlarglng Zone A to a~d rourth Street fro~ Wllshire Boulevard to
Colorado Avenue, Santa '1onica r.1all, Santa ~10nlca Place. and
Llncoln Boulevard bet~een Broadwav a~d the Santa Monica Freeway.
The only actual change to the ordlnance would be a reV1Slon of the
map attache~ to the ordlnance to lnclude wlthln 70ne A these
addltlonal areas.
