SUBJECT: l'urcraft Tledown Rate and Hangar r:zent Increase
INTRODUCTIO~
Th15 report transm1ts an ordlnance for second readinq
WhlCh would allow the fees for alrcraft tledowns and hangar rental
at the Santa Monica MuniclDal AirDort to be set by resolutlon.
A copy of the proposed resolutlon lS attached. The ordlnance was
lntroduced as Item 8A at the May 27, 1980 meetlng.
BACKG"tOUND
The attached ordlnance repeals old fees and allows new
fees to be set by resolutlon. The resolutlon then sets the
dollar amount of those fees.
ALTERNATIVES
The Clty Councll may adopt or reJect thlS ordlnance and resolutlon.
If the Council adopts the ordlnance,the resolutlon should be
enacted lmmedlately to replace the former fees.
