Introduct1on
This report transffilts the attached ordinance which
prohlblts all hellcopter pattern fllght training at Santa
Monica Hunic1pal Airport for second reading and adoptlon.
Backgrormd
The attached ordinance was given a first read1ng
and publlC hearlng on August 23, 1977.
The City Counell authorized the City Attorney to
prepare the attached ordlnance at :Lts meeting of July 26, 1977.
The attached ordlnance does prohiblt any person from conductlng
or aidlng any other person or partlclpating 1n helicopter
pattern flight tra1D1ng operations at any time. There are
no exceptlons provided In the proposed ordlnance.
