Background
On i1ay 27,
1980 (Item 6C) the Clty Cauncll adopted an
ordlnance to enaole the establ1.shment of parklng zones for
pnys1.cally
handlcapped.
Under th1.S ordlnance a phys1.cally
handlcapped zone may be establlshed by resolut1.on of the C1.ty
Coun~11 upon re~uest by any l.nd1.v1.dual and cons1.deratlon by the
Clty Par~lng and rraff1.c Eng1.neer.
Staff has recelved a re4uest from St. Paul's Lutheran Church
for a pays1.cally hand1.capped zone adJdcent to 958 L1.ncoln
Bo~levard. 3taff has revleded the request and f1.nds that the zone
meets all Lhe appropr1.ate requlrements.
