Introductlon
Th~s report transm~ts the attached ordlnance
for second read1ng and adoptlon. The ordlnance prohlb~ts
parklng on any publ~c parklng lot and the 2600 beach
parklng lot durlng speclfled per10ds (unless a valld
parklng permlt has been lssued), restores the procedure
regardlng the ~ssuance of beach parklng lot parking
permlts, and re-establ~shes a penalty for violatlng the
parklng regulat~ons.
Background
The attached ordlnance was glven a flrst
readlng and publlC hearlng at the City Councll meet~ng
of January 24, 1978. Caples of the prev~ous staff reports
are attached for lnformatlon purposes.
