SUBJECT: Report Regarding Means of Flnancing the Cleaning of Sidewalks
1n the Central Business District
At the October 28, 1980 meetlng, the City Council took actlon requestlng
the staff to report back regardlng the proper way to establlsh an
assessment dlstrlct for the purpose of cleaning sidewalks ln the Central
Buslness Dlstrict.
The General SerVlces Department has prepared the necessary resolutions
and these are be1ng revlewed by the City Attorney. It 1S anticipated that
these resolutlons w111 be ready for conslderation by Council at the next
meetlng.
