Background ThlS ordlnance was requested by the Clty Councll at lts meetlng of September 27, 1977. Thereafter, a first readlng of the attached ordlnance was held by the City Counc~l at ltS meetlng of November 22, 1977. The attached ordinance ellmlnates the dual control of the Parklng and Trafflc Englneer and the Superlntendent of Streets over drlveway Slze, locatlon, access and other matters, and vests the Parklng and TrafflC Englneer with total control over such thlngs.
