SUBJECT: PubllC Hearing on Assessment of Costs to Repalr Damaged
Sidewalks, Drlveways and Curbs SR-80-1
Introduction
This report is requesting the Clty Council to hold a Public Hearlng for the
assessment of costs to repalr damaged sIdewalks, drlveways and curbs wlthIn
the Clty of Santa Monlca and to adopt the attached Resolution conflrmlng
the assessment of costs thereof.
Background
On January 22, 1980, the CIty CouncIl set a Public Hearing for February 26, 1980,
on the assessment of costs to repalr damaged sidewalks, drlveways and curbs
wlthin the Clty of Santa Monlca. Individual letters statIng the cost of this
improvement were mal led to each property owner on February 8, 1980. Attached
is the Staff Report of January 14, 1980, and the Resolutlon No. 5483 (C.C.S.)
setting the date of the Public Hearlng (Item 6-D),
Recommendation
It 1$ recommended that the Councll hold the Public Hearlng and conflrm the
assessment charges agalnst the var10US properties lnvolved,
