My concern for heavy callege student traffic plus children skateboarding on the
erupted sidewalk in frant of my house prampted me to cantact ~he C~ty last year
for repa~rs. I agreed to pay one-ha~f ($200) of the cast. 5e~eral months later
the "~ab" was done. As pictures 1-5 indicate, the Gity:
1) chewed up my lawn
2) knacked dawn the park~ng sign
3) desCroyed 2 sprinklers (one enc~osed)
4) permitted ur~sightly graffi.ti to remain on the sideeaalk
'To partially correct the problem I:
1) hired a day ;aorker at $60
2) spent $70 on replacement grass and sprinkl~r parts/material,s
3} invested S hours of my time
~To attern~~ has ever been inade to correct the graff~ti. Y know of no other side-
walk in Sar~~a Monica similarly marked.
I resp~ctfully request that the City: 1) sand out or correct the graffi~i and
2) adjust my "bill" to ref~ect the cost and hassles involved.
